Our Story

inthepark was born from a love of dogs, community, and the joy of connection between 2 dog loving cofounders.

For one, it started with Hunter, the pup who brought people together and inspired the idea of an easy way for dog owners to meet, share, and build friendships. For the other, it began with Molly, a high-energy German Pinscher who just wanted playmates. Finding the right group for her took months—and happened only by chance. That experience made it clear: there had to be a better way for dog lovers to connect.

Together, we realized the need for an app where dog owners could easily discover nearby parks, set up playdates, and share tips about what’s happening in their communities. From playtime companions to helpful park updates, inthepark is built to make every trip outdoors more fun, social, and stress-free—for both you and your pup.
